Welcome to Continuing and Professional Education of Outreach and International Affairs at Virginia Tech. As part of a rapidly growing outreach activity at Virginia Tech, we provide more than 400 short courses, seminars, workshops, training programs, and conferences to 30,000 individuals per year. Most of this activity involves post-graduate level instruction for individuals who are seeking to develop their knowledge and skill in their respective professional areas.

Howard Feiertag, a well-known hospitality industry veteran, is a faculty member of the Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management in the Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Tech. 8th Annual American Ecological Engineering Society Meeting (AEES)
June 11-14, 2008
The theme of this meeting is "Beyond Wetlands: Engineering the Landscape" and will be structured to feature research and design of landscapes (regional planning, watershed management); ecological design and restoration of streams (including floodplains and riparian wetlands); ecological design of urban (built) systems (LID, Green Design); and research and design of remediation systems (phytoremediation, wetlands).
