An interdisciplinary initiative originating with the Women's and Gender Studies (WGS) Program at Virginia Tech that explores relationships between technology and gender, race, class and identity with particular attention paid to bodies as a site where these relationships can be investigated.

Southwest Virginia STEM Summit
May 2, 2014

The purpose of this first annual Southwest Virginia STEM Summit is to recognize and celebrate the current exemplary programs, and to create a network of STEM educators, employers, and advocates who want to know more about what is going on, facilitate new connections to advance the excellent work already in progress and to invent new initiatives for our region.
