Exhibitors
The Virginia Association for Teachers of Family and Consumer Sciences (VATFACS) invites you to exhibit at the 2017 VATFACS Professional Development Institute to be held at The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center, 110 Shenandoah Avenue, Roanoke, Virginia on July 31 - August 2, 2017. We anticipate approximately 300 Family and Consumer Science educators and school administrators in attendance. The VATFACS institute is a great opportunity to meet these educators and share information about your products.
Set Up & Display
Main exhibits are planned for Tuesday, August 1 from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00
p.m. Set up may begin two hours prior to exhibit hours. Exhibits will be
located at The Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center.
Exhibitor Fees
$225. The exhibit fee includes one six foot draped table, chair, 110 electrical access and wireless internet access.
NO MEALS ARE INCLUDED WITH EXHIBITOR FEES.
Exhibitor registration is available through July 11, 2017.
Promotional Items for Donation
You are invited to donate promotional items for our participants, please
contact Debbie Agee, VATFACS President, by e-mail at
dpagee@henrico.k12.va.us.
Character of Exhibits
VATFACS reserves the right to decline or prohibit any exhibit that is
not suitable to, or in not in keeping with, the character of the
conference. No exhibitor may assign or sublet any portion of the space
contracted without approval of the conference planning committee.
Advance Shipping and AV Rental
If it is necessary to ship materials to the hotel, each item must be
properly packed and marked with the organization's name (e.g. VATFACS
Professional Development Institute) and contact name, date of function, and
addressed to The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center, 110 Shenandoah Avenue, Roanoke, VA 24016 .
Packages should arrive no earlier than
Saturday, July 29, 2017.

Refund and Cancellation Policy: Requests for refunds will be honored when received by July 1, 2017. However, another person may be substituted at any time for this program. A $90 administrative fee will be deducted for cancellations. In the unlikely event that this program is cancelled or postponed due to insufficient enrollments or unforeseen circumstances, the university will fully refund registration fees but cannot be held responsible for any other expenses, including cancellation or change charges assessed by airlines, hotels, travel agencies, or other organizations.
