The Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center is the only hotel located on the beautiful Virginia Tech campus in Blacksburg, Virginia, and offers convenient surroundings, state-of-the-art technology, and a world-class hotel with 147 elegant guest rooms including three suites. NOTE: The first talks on Monday will start in the New Classroom Building, room 260, on the Virginia Tech campus, located across West Campus Drive from the Inn at Virginia Tech.
Lodging
A block of lodging rooms has been reserved at The Inn at Virginia Tech at a special rate of $135 single or double occupancy. To reserve your room, please call the hotel directly at 540-231-8000 or toll free at 877-200-3360 and mention you are attending String Pneno 2017. Reservations must be made by Friday, June 2, 2017. Early reservations are encouraged as the room block may fill prior to the reservation deadline date.

Residence Halls at Virginia Tech
Get the full Virginia Tech experience by staying in an on-campus residence hall. Rooms are available in either single or double occupancy, and come fully equipped with linens and air-conditioning. For added convenience, restrooms and showers are located on each hallway.
The cost of a single occupancy room is $60 plus tax per night. You will also need to purchase a meal card for meals during your stay. Meal prices are as follows: breakfast $7.65, lunch $11.10, dinner $13.50. If you are attending the banquet on Thursday, July 6, 2017, you will not be required to purchase dinner on-campus on Thursday.
