The World Polymer Congress 2012 will be held on the beautiful Virginia Tech campus located in Blacksburg, Virginia, U.S.A. This area is noted for its natural beauty, healthful atmosphere and outdoor recreational opportunities.

There are two choices for lodging - select area hotels and campus housing. No meals are included in your registration fee. See Dining for options.

Shuttle service will be provided between the hotels listed below and the Virginia Tech campus. Please check back soon for shuttle schedule.

Congress attendees will also have the option to lodge in residential housing on the Virginia Tech campus. Lodging rooms are available in several different dorms on campus and the fees vary by dorm and type. You have the option of selecting the dorm that you would like to stay in:

Peddrew-Yates; New Residence Hall East
($47.25 per person per night for double and $52.50 per night for single)

These dorms offer suite style living with two-three rooms having a common living area and bathroom. Four to six residents will share a bathroom.

Graduate Life Center - SOLD OUT

This dorm offers single rooms with private bath.

New Hall West - SOLD OUT

This dorm offers double occupancy rooms with private baths.

East Ambler Johnston - SOLD OUT

This dorm offers traditional style lodging with many residents sharing restrooms as well as rooms with private bathrooms.

Please note that if you choose a double-occupancy room, you must have a roommate. Virginia Tech will not assign roommates if you do not have one.

You must register and pay for the residential housing plan in advance. The registration deadline date for residential housing plan purchase is June 3, 2012.

Pre-registration for dorm lodging has now closed. A limited number of rooms may be available on-site for attendees needing lodging.
