MAY 2023

SPRING TERM COMES TO A CLOSE

We close out the 2022-23 year with an album full of meaningful moments and good memories. Our instructors and presenters offered a wide range of lively and thought-provoking courses and talks. LLI members asked insightful questions and deeply engaged in class discussions, truly enriching the learning experience for both students and teachers. Outings and social events brought adventure and smiles as we gathered again in community. Your valuable feedback will guide us in selecting future courses, so thanks for completing all those class feedback forms!

A huge thank you goes out to our Program Committee for recruiting gifted instructors to teach LLI courses and featured webinars. The Committee has already finished its work for Fall term and there are many more new courses and events to try, along with some of your long-time favorites. Stay tuned for updates!

And to each of you – members, volunteers, class assistants, instructors, donors and sponsors – take a bow for making 2022-2023 LLI's best year yet! Your ovation is well deserved. We look forward to seeing you in the fall.

VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION GATHERING

If you are an LLI volunteer – committee member, instructor, class assistant, or any other kind of volunteer – join us for our annual appreciation event at Historic Smithfield Pavilion, June 14, 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. This is always a joyous celebration of our collective efforts. LLI would not be LLI without everyone who contributes their time and talents! Let us thank you!

Let Bev Walters (bfwalters@gmail.com) know if you want to volunteer for fall term. We welcome new volunteers for a variety of roles.
