Intro to ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management Systems

A short course designed as a foundation for those new to an Environmental and Sustainability Management System (ESMS) or for those who wish to review the standard. This course will give an overview of what an ESMS is, the requirements of ISO 14001:2015, and how the standard provides a framework for creating an ESMS.

Who should attend?

  • Anyone new to ESMS
  • Environmental managers and consultants
  • Anyone responsible for developing and implementing an EMS to ISO 14001:2015 standards
  • Organizations or individuals that want to learn about ISO 14001:2015
  • Internal and external management system auditors who will be auditing to ISO 14001:2015

What will I learn?

Upon completion of this training, you will be able to:

  • Understand the fundamentals of environmental management
  • Understand the requirements of ISO 14001:2015
  • Apply knowledge of the requirements to aid in developing an ESMS
