Fees:

Registration for March 5 and 6, 2020 includes an entrance to Contemplative Practices for Higher Education Conference at the Hotel Roanoke. This package includes a ticket to Carrie Newcomer's concert Thursday night and all conference materials. All breaks and lunch are also included.

Registration for March 7, 2020 includes an entrance to the Conference as well as breaks and any conference materials.

Students are offered a special registration rate for all or part of the conference. This rate includes lunch and breaks on Friday and breaks on Saturday. However, it does not include a ticket to Thursday night concert. Concert tickets are available at registration for a special price.

*** We will release Carrie Newcomer's concert tickets to the General Public on February 2, 2020. Regular Registration will receive a concert ticket only as they are available.

Carrie Newcomer's concert tickets available to the General Public: $25

  • Sign in here, creating an account through the Virginia Tech payment portal, and then select a concert ticket as item 9 on the next screen.
  • Click on Continue and the following screen allows you to select the number of concert tickets you wish to purchase.
  • Complete form of payment and the tickets will be held at our Check-In (Will Call) table on the evening of the concert, at The Hotel Roanoke in the Washington Lecture Hall.

Registration deadline is Saturday, March 7, 2020.

Refund and Cancellation Policy: Refund requests must be received 14 calendar days prior to the program start date. A $60 administrative fee will be deducted from all refunds. Requests should be sent by email or by initiating a drop request through the student portal in our online registration system. As an alternative to a refund, you may send a substitute at no additional cost. Please contact us at 540-231-5182 or e-mail cpeinfo@vt.edu to request a substitution. Please note: refunds will not be issued for no-shows or for cancellations received on or after the program start date.

In the unlikely event that this program is cancelled or postponed due to insufficient enrollments or unforeseen circumstances, the university will fully refund registration fees but cannot be held responsible for any other expenses, including cancellation or change charges assessed by airlines, hotels, travel agencies, or other organizations.
