The Virginia State Feed Association and the Department of Dairy Science
are pleased to announce the second joint VSFA / Dairy Cattle Nutrition Cow
College. Each organization has had a strong conference for many years
which shared a substantial interest in subject material. This
conference is set to capitalize on this synergy to attract some of the
best speakers in the feed industry. The conference will focus on feed
industry issues as well as topics related to management of the feeding
program on progressive dairies.

- Update on feed industry and transportation issues as well as feed mill safety
- Review of the new NRC publication - Nutrient requirements for equines
- Improve accuracy in feed formulation
- Develop strategies in the feeding program to adjust to the changing market place
