Currently, we are offering 3 courses and includes all the resources to study and prepare for the exam. The three courses are:
- Fundamentals of Asset Management
The Fundamentals of Asset Management is the first course in the series of three, introducing you to fundamental principles of asset management and how they are applied to infrastructure asset investment decision making.
- Strengthening the Asset Reinvestment Decision
Reinvestment in America’s deteriorating legacy water infrastructure poses substantial financial challenges to most utilities across the country. This course provides step by step process guidance in making those cyclical transitional decisions with a particular focus on the transition to capital reinvestment.
- Infrastructure Performance, Sustainability, and Resiliency
This course is designed to provide holistic approach for water infrastructure management that supports the three key aspects of asset management: performance (level-of-service), sustainability (stressed environment), and resiliency (catastrophic events).
In future (Fall 2015), we will offer two more courses:
- Data and Information for Asset Management
Infrastructure Asset Management is an information-intensive process. The first step in most asset management frameworks is frequently related to data collection. This course provides all steps rely on information about the infrastructure system, such as asset registry, condition assessment, performance, cost information, and others.
- Models and Tools for Advanced Asset Management
Performance evaluation and prediction models are efficient tools used by infrastructure asset managers to achieve this goal of achieving advanced asset management. These models and tools are used to provide decision support to properly answer the crucial questions related to infrastructure asset management.
