School Information Sheet

Rotary District 7570 sponsors the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Seminar annually. The seminar brings together young people from Winchester, Virginia to Greenville, Tennessee for a weekend of fun and an opportunity to learn and practice leadership skills. Participants will have the opportunity to hear outstanding speakers, participate in team activities, practice communication skills and grow personally by sharing ideas and experiences with your peers throughout Virginia.

Eligibility:

• Be a high school junior or senior
  
  
• Have a record of accomplishment in school
  
  
• Exhibit leadership qualities and a wish to improve leadership skills
  
  
• Be willing to participate in group activities
  
  
• Complete application for the seminar
  
  
• Participate in an interview with sponsoring Rotary Club member

Dress Attire:

Dress throughout the conference is nice causal (jeans permitted). Please bring tennis shoes for group/physical activities and warm outdoor clothing for outside activities. Nice evening attire for the Saturday evening dinner (jackets and ties optional).
