Welcome to the Outreach NOW conference series. These conferences are designed to increase the participation and advancement of Virginia Tech faculty, staff, students, and community partners in outreach and engagement. The Office of the Vice President for Outreach and International Affairs and the Office of International Research, Education, and Development (OIRED) sponsor Outreach NOW.

This year’s conference at the Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center celebrates the internationalization of our campus. The keynote speaker will be Dr. M.S. Swaminathan, known as the father of the Green Revolution in India, who has been invited to address the topics of global food security and environmental stewardship for sustainable development.
