After eight years of continuous growth, the Commonwealth of Virginia's Annual Children's Services Act Conference is moving to the beautiful waterside district of Norfolk, Virginia. Plan to join us at the Norfolk Waterside Marriott Hotel and Convention Center on October 29-30, 2020 for two days of training and activities focused on the needs of Virginia’s CSA network. The conference, entitled "Waves of Change, Oceans of Opportunity," will celebrate the evolution that is currently taking place within Virginia's childserving system and help equip those in the CSA network with new skills and perspectives that will directly impact their ability to embrace new opportunities.
Participants (including State Executive Council, State and Local Advisory Team) can expect to receive information and training that will assist them in achieving the mission and vision of CSA. Workshops are designed for local government representatives responsible for implementation of the CSA. Sessions are designed to meet the specific needs of CPMT members (e.g., local government administrators, agency heads, private provider representatives, and parent representatives), FAPT members, and CSA Coordinators.
