Form-Based Codes 301: Completing, Adopting and Administering the Code
NOTE: All participants must complete Form Based Codes 101: An Introductory
Course in Chicago, May 1-3, 2006, before registering for this course.

- Structuring the Coding Process
- What Should Be Kept and What Replaced from
Conventional Code Provisions
- Adopting Form-Based Codes
- Post-Adoption Code Implementation
- Administration by Staff
- Potential Role of Town Architect
- Discretionary Review by Boards

- Day 3: 8:00am - 12:30pm*
* instruction ends at 12:30pm,
but a light lunch will be provided for
those who wish to continue the
closing debrief.

Instruction for the August Form Based Codes courses will be held at the George Washington University Alexandria Graduate Education Center at 1775 Duke Street, Alexandria, VA 22314 (703.299.0297). The GW Center is a short walk from the hotel. Simply turn left out of the hotel lobby onto King St, walk straight until you come to Henry St. Make a left onto Henry and after two blocks make a right onto Duke St. Go straight on Duke until you come to the GW Center at 1775 Duke St. There is public transportation to the King Street Metro and walking directions from there will be available at the hotel upon check-in.
