CONFERENCE THEME AREAS

Five theme areas have been identified for the conference based on the past 50 years of forest soils science:

  • Forest site evaluation and mapping
  • Management effects on growth, production and sustainability of forest ecosystems
  • Linkages between forest soils and water quality and quantity
  • Soil ecology and biogeochemistry of forest soils
  • Fertility and tree nutrition

There will be a keynote address, several additional oral presentations and a poster session for each of the five theme areas.
