A Suburban World? Global Decentralization and the New Metropolis
April 6-8, 2006
Washington Dulles Airport Marriott
Dulles, Virginia
We have entered a new era where the areas outside core cities are
forming different settlement systems. As urban form changes, new
research and policy have to be crafted to meet the challenges of sprawl,
congestion and affordable housing. This conference will take a look at
the new metropolis in the context of global decentralization.
Registration is $300 before February 1, 2008 and $350 after February 1,
2008. There is a student fee of $150 and a one day only fee of $175.
