Mathematical Modeling in Nutrition and the Health Sciences
Call for Posters

The ninth Mathematical Modeling in Nutrition and the Health Sciences Conference will be held from August 14 - 17, 2006, at the Virginia Polytechnic University. This conference will convene experts in the field of mathematical biological modeling to present talks on advances in the field of modeling and novel applications of modeling to biological and health research.

Posters

Posters reporting all aspects of modeling in biology and health are sought. Research areas include but are not limited to nutrition, animal and dairy science, pharmacology, and toxicology. Also encouraged are submissions related to statistical modeling methods, modeling software and computer programming, bioinformatics, genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and systems biology.

Abstract details and deadline

Abstracts should be submitted via email to Mark Hanigan at mhanigan@vt.edu by June 1, 2006. Abstracts should include a title, author listing, author affiliations, and a summary of the work to be presented. Abstracts should be submitted in Microsoft Word with 1" margins and should not exceed one page. Abstracts will be used exactly as they are received (with no further formatting) in the conference abstract book.

Poster abstract acceptance notices will be sent on July 5, 2006 by email.
