About the Workshop Howard Feiertag, a well-known hospitality industry veteran, is a faculty member of the Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management in the Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Tech. His experience and connections in the hotel sales and marketing field help him keep a strong pulse on industry trends. His knowledge can help you and your hotel team members grow and strengthen your skills and c onfidence and learn to adapt to the economic environment. Feiertag’s 40-plus years of hospitality experience includes convention bureau management, hotel operations, food and beverage, sales and marketing, catering, meetings and convention management, as well as tourism and travel. Feiertag’s experience and knowledge lends itself to revealing trends of the hotel economic patterns, cycles, and how they relate to hotel sales dynamics. Among his many honors and achievements, he was named the first recipient of the 2004 Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International’s Excellence in Sales and Marketing Strategy Award. Who Should Attend This program is designed for both the novice and experienced hotel sales managers, directors, and general managers looking to breathe new life into their team’s efforts.
