Financial Aid Opportunities
Thank you for your interest in Continuing and Professional Education at Virginia Tech. Privately-funded
student loans are available for the following courses:
General Steps
- Choose your private lender from the information located at:
http://www.finaid.vt.edu/types_of_aid/loans/alternative/index.html
- Apply for your loan
- Enroll in the class by downloading and
completing the registration form from the program web site. Send this
along with your loan pre-approval notification and the Financial Aid Agreement - (PDF) to the address indicated
on the registration form.
The lender will process your application and notify our financial aid office of your loan status. For more
information, contact our Virginia Tech student loan advisor at finaid@vt.edu (please use "Continuing
and Professional Education" as your subject line). All loan information must be processed at least two
weeks prior to the start of class
