Partner Venues
Continuing and Professional Education programs are held across the globe and we offer assistance in identifying the best venue for your group. Virginia Tech features two university-affiliated, world-class IACC conference centers: The Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center and The Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center. Space is also available at the Virginia Tech Research Center — Arlington, a new high-tech facility in a prime location.

Located in the heart of campus, this 193,000 square foot, Virginia Green certified facility sits
on 25 lush acres. The 700-seat ballroom, 10 conference rooms, and 147
guest rooms and suites make it one of the premier facilities in the
mid-Atlantic region.
The Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center

This historic hotel is connected to a high-tech conference center that
offers 63,000 square feet of flexible meeting space. Both are Virginia Green certified. A covered walkway
leads to downtown Roanoke where visitors will find a farmer's market,
galleries, shops, and restaurants.
Virginia Tech Research Center — Arlington

This stunning facility offers a 20-foot, ultra-high-resolution
projection screen with 3D capability, wireless internet access, and
state-of-the-art audio-visual technology. Underground parking is
available, and the center is conveniently located near the Metro and
Reagan National Airport.
Virginia Tech also offers other facilities in Hampton Roads, Richmond, Roanoke, Southside and Southwest Virginia.
Outreach Program Development
Continuing and Professional Education is a unit of Outreach Program Development (OPD) and under the umbrella of Outreach and International Affairs. In step with Virginia Tech's mission of learning, discovery, and engagement, OPD fosters greater economic opportunities and quality of life for the citizens of Virginia and beyond. The programs offered through OPD provide lifelong learning opportunities for youth, undergraduate and graduate students, scholars, practicing professionals, and community members.
