"I have been a Bruce fan since shortly before the Johnstown Flood
and I was privileged to attend the Glory Days Symposium in 2005. To
paraphrase Rush Limbaugh, the Symposium was an example of "The Way
Things Ought To Be." The time spent there was a direct cross of
intellectual stimulation and, to paraphrase Brian Wilson. "Fun,Fun.Fun."
The Symposium was truly an experience of personal enrichment as
well as professional growth for this educator. I have since incorporated
Bruce and, his slice of life affirming American message, into my
curriculum. (Bruce Springsteen, Honorary American History Teacher,
Duluth Central High School!) So...Bust Into Class and Rockaway the
Nights Out Along the Strand...Pack you Pa and pack your Aunt and head on
down to Greasy Lake in the Great State of New Jersey and the second
Glory Days Symposium. (You will be among good company and kindred
spirits.")
