The registration fee will include program materials, lunch, banquet, and access to the undergraduate career fair.

Career Expo Recruiter registration details:


The Multicultural Career Expo, is a new addition to the annual Faculty Women of Color in the Academy Conference and is geared to undergraduates. The Expo is an opportunity to meet undergraduate women of color from Virginia Tech as well as other institutions from across the Commonwealth and beyond.

In addition to interacting with undergraduates who are preparing for their careers, your participation gives you the opportunity to network with faculty, administrators, and graduate students as a part of the conference experience.

Fee Includes:

  • Participation for two representatives (each additional representative: $50.00);
  • One 6X8 foot booth with table and chairs;
  • Optional attendance at lunch or dinner on Sunday, April 2nd, featuring Keynote speakers Melissa Harris-Perry (lunch) and Nikki Giovanni (dinner);
  • Breakfast and lunch on Monday, April 3rd.

Refund and Cancellation Policy: Requests for refunds will be honored when received fourteen calendar days prior to the program. However, another person may be substituted at any time for this program. A $25 administrative fee will be deducted for cancellations. In the unlikely event that this program is cancelled or postponed due to insufficient enrollments or unforeseen circumstances, the university will fully refund registration fees but cannot be held responsible for any other expenses, including cancellation or change charges assessed by airlines, hotels, travel agencies, or other organizations.
