6th Annual Faculty Women of Color in the Academy National Conference - April 5-6, 2018 - The Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center - Blacksburg, Virginia

Conference Attendee registration details:

The registration fee will include program materials, lunch, banquet, and access to the undergraduate career fair.

$225 - Participant Fee (professionals and students)

Career Expo Recruiter registration details:

The Multicultural Career and Graduate School Expo is an opportunity to engage with employers and graduate programs from across the nation about careers beyond the academy. The Expo is geared to undergraduate participants, but is open to any conference attendee. (See Expo for more details.)

Fee Includes:

  • Participation for two representatives. Please add $50 for each additional representative.
  • One 6x8 foot booth with table and 2 chairs.
  • Breakfast and lunch on Friday, April 6th.

$280 - for Government and Not-for-Profit Organizations

$380 for all other Employers

Optional Fees:

Printed copy of full conference program - $30

2018 Faculty Women of Color in the Academic Post-Conference Writing Retreat (See Workshop for more details.)

$160 - includes the workshop, lunch and refreshments, a subscription to InkWell’s monthly newsletter on writing, and a $250 discount on InkWell’s Fall Residential Writing Retreat (July 29 – August 4, 2018).

Refund and Cancellation Policy: Requests for refunds will be honored when received fourteen calendar days prior to the program. However, another person may be substituted at any time for this program. A $50 administrative fee will be deducted for cancellations. In the unlikely event that this program is cancelled or postponed due to insufficient enrollments or unforeseen circumstances, the university will fully refund registration fees but cannot be held responsible for any other expenses, including cancellation or change charges assessed by airlines, hotels, travel agencies, or other organizations.
