Continuing Education in
Natural Resources
Living in the Information Age characterized by rapid technological
advances, generation of new knowledge, and a changing social
environment is challenging to anyone involved with natural resource
and forest products management. Adding to the complexity is the fact
that more people are placing ever-increasing demands upon the natural
environment. To meet these challenges, natural resource
professionals, business leaders, landowners and concerned citizens
must stay abreast of change through continuous learning.
The College of Natural Resources is committed to delivering relevant professional development programs in an affordable and convenient format. Programs are designed and developed for a wide variety of audiences including natural resource professionals, forest products manufacturers, forest land owners and managers, as well as interested citizens. Program content is developed to meet the educational needs of the intended audiences. Instructors are highly regarded professionals from both within and outside the University, carefully selected for their expertise, experience and ability to communicate effectively with their intended audiences.
