On behalf of the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) and the Transportation Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Advisory Committee (TDAC), I would like to invite you to attend the 2019 Virginia Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Transportation Training Symposium that will be held in Richmond, Virginia. The conference is being held March 13 and 14, 2019, at the Greater Richmond Convention Center in downtown Richmond. This year's theme is "Bridge to the Future", to encourage firms to develop the highest safety practices, technical skills, business development strategies, high level project management competencies and an aggressive workforce development plan in order to compete and win the projects of the future.
The primary goal of the training symposium is to bring the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise community and stakeholders together in a supportive, empowering environment to learn from the knowledge and experience of subject matter experts in the transportation industry and each other. Symposium attendees will also have the opportunity to work on strategic networking to connect with the right people to build relationships and establish partnerships that lead to increased contract opportunities.
Our goal is to make the 2019 Virginia Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Transportation Training Symposium a rewarding and memorable experience for each of you. Join us in Richmond this March 2019.
