The opening session on August 4, 2009 will feature Jim Warford, a courageous, educational leader who did not follow a traditional career path. A former Career and Technical Education teacher for 17 years, his unique combination of educational, business, and creative experience allows him to translate his vision and passion for school reform into well-executed systemic changes resulting in dramatic increases in student performance.
The afternoon breakout sessions are designed to address instructional strands across the board for all educators. These speakers will include CTE teachers, administrators, national consultants, and many others. Every participant will find sessions that are beneficial for their daily work and responsibilities.
