Virginia Tech - Invent the Future
Contemplative Practices for a Technological Society - Cultivating Mind Body Practices to Invent Our Future - April 11-13, 2013 - The Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center - Blacksburg, Virginia
Students

We invite students to participate in the dialog on contemplative practice. The conference has been structured, in part, to serve student interests. There will be some events that are organized specifically for students addressed specifically to their concerns. At other times the students will be part of the general conference offerings.

We have invited Ali and Atman Smith and Andres Gonzales from the Holistic Life Foundation in Baltimore, MD to work with the students and share their experiences of contemplative practice.

The intention of the conference is to explore the current state of contemplative practice and to develop a roadmap for the future. The students will be expected to participate in this dialog throughout the conference.

  • Student registration includes all talks, breaks and lunch on Saturday.
  • It does not include other lunches nor the banquet on Friday.

We have limited student registration to 40 on a first come first served basis. Please see the Registration page.

The following Facebook Group has been setup to help coordinate student meals and lodging. After registration, please request to join the group.
