Who Should Attend

Anyone who is/will be supporting an individual with autism, Asperger Syndrome, or PDD-NOS should plan to attend this conference.

Location and Lodging

The Autism Spectrum Disorders Conference will be held at the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center in Abingdon, Virginia, conveniently located off of I-81 at Exit 14.

March 24, 2010 - Community Autism Awareness Evening - Free

March 25, 2010 - 7th Annual Autism Conference - Cost is $39.00. This will cover the cost of materials, continental breakfast, and lunch. Each participant receives a certificate for the purpose of recertification. To ensure your seat, please register early!

Community Autism Awareness Evening

Sponsored by the Virginia Department of Education Training & Technical Assistance Center (T/TAC) at Virginia Tech

Come join us for an evening of information and inspiration. The T/TAC at Virginia Tech will be hosting a Community Autism Awareness Evening to provide parents, families, individuals on the autism spectrum, community service providers, educators, and other individuals an opportunity to gather information on local, regional, and state resources. Vendors representing public service agencies will be available to answer questions and provide resources. Vendors representing companies that market products targeting individuals with autism spectrum disorders will also be onsite. Participants will be able to browse the Central Virginia Autism Society of America Bookstore.
