The workshop will be held at The Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center, conveniently located at 110 Shenandoah Avenue and within walking distance of shopping and dining in the downtown Market district.
A block of lodging rooms is being held at The Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center until June 17. The special conference rates are: $97 single or double, $107 triple, and $117 quadruple occupancy, plus 10.5% tax. Registration
& Other Information

The registration fee is $295 and includes continental breakfasts, continuous break service, two luncheons, work books, certificate for 1.8 continuing education units, and tour to Virginia Tech.

Scholarships

Ten scholarships which pay for the registration fee are available. Priority for awarding the scholarships will be for teachers whose school districts cannot afford the course and have recirculating aquaculture systems or plan to have recirculating aquaculture systems in the near future. Please contact Terry Rakestraw at (540) 231-6805 or rakestra@vt.edu if you are interested in applying for one of the scholarships.

Graduate Credit

Three hours of graduate credit will be available for those enrolled in the workshop. The scholarship and registration fee does not include tuition for graduate credit.
