Rooms are available at the special rate on a first-come, first-served basis, so please make your reservations by June 16. You must mention the name of this workshop when making your reservation to get the special rate of $98 single occupancy (plus 11.5% taxes) and $108 double (plus 11.5% taxes).

Travel by Air

The Roanoke Valley Regional Airport is only minutes from The Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center. Complimentary shuttle service takes you directly from/to the airport and The Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center. There is a complimentary phone with a direct line to the hotel in the airport's baggage claim area. The airport supports these airlines:

The Greensboro International Airport is only two hours south of Roanoke and has many other flight options at reduced rates.

US AIRWAYS Discount

Special discount airfare has been negotiated with US Airways for travel to programs conducted by Virginia Tech's Division of Continuing Education. Call 1 (877) 874-7687 and refer to Virginia Tech's Division of Continuing Education's Goldfile number 72172190 or just let your travel agent know the number when booking your ticket. The discounts are applied to the lowest applicable fare ranging from 5% and higher off the unrestricted coach fare. Plus, if you book 60 days in advance, you will receive an additional 5% discount. If you aren't traveling over a Saturday night, ask about the special Zone Fares that are also applicable.
