To receive the special lodging room rate and be included in the conference room block at the Inn at Virginia Tech, reservations must be made over the phone by calling the hotel's front desk at (540) 231-8000. You must identify yourself as a participant of the First Responders Conference to be included in the block. The room block holding will end on Monday, September 26, 2005. After this date, the special rate of $95 will be honored for conference participants based on hotel availability.

An additional room block has been made at the Clarion Hotel Roanoke Airport in Roanoke for Saturday, October 15, 2005 at $68 per night. To make reservations in the room block, please call the hotel at (540) 362-5844 and identify yourself as a First Responders Conference participant. The room block ends on Wednesday, October 5, 2005.

Lodging in and around Blacksburg is full on Saturday, October 15, 2005 due to Virginia Tech's Parent's Weekend. Lodging is still available in the Blacksburg area on Sunday, October 16 and Monday, October 17. Please see the below list of Blacksburg hotels.

A lodging room block has been reserved at the Holiday Inn University in Blacksburg at a special rate of $85/night for Sunday, October 16 and Monday, October 17. The Holiday Inn is located across the street from the Inn at Virginia Tech. To make reservations in the room block, please call 540-552-7001 and identify yourself as a participant in the First Responders Conference. The room block ends on Sunday, October 2, 2005.
