General Information Presentations are now available. The numbers of specialists in the field of agricultural economics have diminished in many land grant institutions throughout the U.S. A series of SIX outlook seminars have been planned for agriculturally diverse locations around Virginia. (see Dates & Locations) The seminars are designed to present timely, expert agricultural economic-outlook information so participants may make more informed decisions affecting the sustainability of the farming business. The meetings are designed for producers, extension educators, and other agricultural influencers such as lenders, input dealers, and processors from Virginia and bordering states. These meetings will utilize both on-site presenters and interactive, web-based video conferencing technology allowing experts (See Speaker Bios and Contact Information) from around the United States to make presentations. The remote sessions will be totally interactive so that participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and/or make comments to the presenters for their consideration and response.
