Conference Location

Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) is the primary land grant university of Virginia. The university is nestled in the Appalachian Mountains of southwestern Virginia in Blacksburg, which is about 45 minutes from a full-service airport in Roanoke, Virginia. Recreational activities abound on (gym, pools, golf, tennis, etc.) and very near (scenic hiking, swimming/boating/tubing on New River) the campus.

The conference will be held on the campus of Virginia Tech. Workshops on June 9-10 will be held in Seitz Hall, home of the Department of Biological Systems Engineering. Starting on Wednesday, June 11, the society meetings and sessions will be held in Squires Student Center. More information will be posted in the future regarding room assignments for the workshops and meeting.
