Travel

When you arrive, we hope you will be sure to enjoy the beloved campus we call home. We hope you allow yourself a little time to look around, take in the scenery, enjoy the brisk air, and celebrate our campus offerings.

You will certainly notice what makes our campus architecture unique the minute you reach the Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center to check in. Hokie Stone provides the distinctive visual identification that sets Virginia Tech apart from her sister institutions across the commonwealth and the nation.

When you register we will arrange your reservation at the Inn, there is no need for you to contact the Inn directly. We will match delegates to roommates; all you have to do is make your way here!

To do that you may wish to fly or drive. We are happy to help you get from the Roanoke Airport or local Virginia Tech Montgomery Executive Airport to campus, simply contact Kim Timpany with your specific delegate needs. If you prefer, we can also help you contact shuttle services or arrange to rent transportation for the weekend. If you choose to travel by Amtrak it's much less direct to Blacksburg.

Blacksburg, in beautiful Montgomery County, VA can be a little off the beaten path, but we think you will agree that is well worth the journey once you visit!
