If
you are interested in taking at least one graduate course
at Virginia Tech, you can either make full application to
the specific program through the Graduate School, or you
can take selected courses on a space available basis
through the Commonwealth Campus. For specifics about the
procedures for these two options, please refer to the
Graduate School's web site:

At
the present time, no degree programs at the undergraduate
level are fully web-based. However, many courses, as
noted in the above list, are presently offered in this
format to Virginia Tech students only. See

"I
am in the northern Virginia area and am interested in
getting a graduate degree. I heard that Virginia Tech has a
campus for continuing education in the area. Can you give me some more information? Do you offer any night/weekend classes
that can be counted toward graduation?"
The
Northern Virginia Center relocated in September 1997 to
7054 Haycock Road in Falls Church. This Center offers
degree and non-degree programs and courses from Virginia
Tech and the University of Virginia. It is conveniently
located at exit #66 off I-66 and at the West Falls Church
metro stop.
All
graduate courses taught at the Northern Virginia Center
by Virginia Tech are awarded one or more semester hours
